Karen is a strategic leader and 24-year U.S. Marine Corps veteran with deep expertise in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) leadership, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management. She has held senior roles at Fortune 500 companies as a trusted subject matter expert on OSHA, EPA, DOT, and global HSE compliance standards, leading large-scale safety initiatives and overseeing cross-functional teams with companies such as: Amazon, Cummins Engines, GKN Automotive, the Dept of Defense, and Grainger. Her military career laid the foundation for her expertise in safety leadership, team development, and risk mitigation.

Karen’s leadership blends military precision with corporate strategy, making her a strong voice in governance, ethics, and accountability. She holds an MBA from Le Moyne College, a BS in Criminal Justice, and is a certified Safety Trained Supervisor (BCSP). She is also a passionate advocate for veteran transition, workforce equity, and women in leadership.
